Fast, friendly and delicious! The owners take great pride in providing delicious and authentic Asian cuisine. They are very courteous and love to get to know their customer; and the food.... Outstanding! They do a wonderful job with every dish offered!
The buffet has been closed since COVID but they are still doing pickup. The staff is friendly and accommodating (I am vegetarian and often modify things) and the food is good and fresh. They give you a lot of al dente, fresh veggies (not mushy or frozen) with your meals, soups are good, and they have several vegetarian options. Also their veggie spring rolls are excellent, but not on the menu, so ask for them (only thing is they are extremely greasy, so we have to press them between paper towels when we get home, but still worth it!). You can sub tofu for any meat in any entrée. Their Hunan bean curd is excellent and so is their lo mein. Everything has good flavor.
I was incredibly surprised to move to rural Alabama and find a truly excellent Chinese place in town. Coming from the south suburbs of Chicago, none of our local places were as this. I've ordered from here about a half dozen times since I moved here and every time it has been great. Their egg rolls are particularly awesome, and no matter how uncommon the item I order is, I've never really been disappointed. I still haven't quite settled on my favorite item on the menu. The dishes marked spicy are generally not that spicy, being made for local palettes, but I think acting for extra spicy on something like the kung pao chicken will be where it's at. They also make excellent hot and sour soup, which is just what you need when you're feeling under the weather. The ambience is pretty typical American Chinese place, with different Asian stuff decorating (since the average customer won't know the difference) -- I was just pleased that there was actual Chinese music playing and not top 40 bull crap. I have only actually eaten in at the buffet once, but I loved it and will definitely be back.
It's true; this is the only Chinese restaurant in town (apart from Peking Garden in neighboring city Sylacauga). However, the food is good but with limited selections. The staff is nice, the restaurant is clean. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a quick bite of Chinese.
Tried this place for the first time tonight. The place seemed clean. Staff was very friendly. The food was very good! Definitely will be going back soon!!
